Train their lips to appreciate truth,
They will rather be dumb than tell a lie;
Discipline their ears to know only wisdom
They will be deaf to whispers of folly.
Show them apposite images of justice,
Their eyes will loathe all shades of fraud;
Feed them love, patience and discretion,
Their nose will discern strife from afar.
Help them erect their dreams
Upon the boundless plane of hope;
Coach, teach, and guide them in the path of peace
And a generation is centuries far from war.
In the innocence of their conscience,
In the contentment of their hearts,
In the clemency of their fragile souls,
Is the unfading glory of our tomorrow.
