The World Has Gone Sour

The world has gone so sour

And what some cuddle dear as their power

Are guns and gains of greed;

A doom our animosities feed.

Only a peek at the future

Balances the blames on our cluttered culture.

The world has gone sour;

Meanness thrives within each hour;

The more you look at homes and streets,

The less you’ll see what hope secretes.

Love I know they say is the way

But starting today, forgiveness must have a say.
