Of all I have to do,
I always will fail to die;
I am busy living
Out purpose as each day drifts by.
In my chest of regrets
Is emptiness and nothingness;
My soul savours life
And knows not lust for sadness.
If tomorrow wouldn’t take me in,
Today will feel the best of me;
The world may waddle and toddle,
My conscience is clear, my spirit is free
Free from death's pangs and control,
For faith rules within,
Within my heart, deep in my soul;
Even when darkness calls, I won’t give in
For I am busy living
Out purpose as each day drifts by,
And of all I have to do,
Always will I fail to die.
