Essence Of Easter

There is none like Jesus,

The source of the life in us,

Who at Calvary gave His life for you,

And when in trouble promised to see you through

He’s a friend who knows your pains

And deepest hidden fears,

He’ll never watch you cry

And turn a blind eye

He’s given His life

Just to see that you’re saved;

He’ll never let you fall

When you heed to His call

Back there at the cross

Did His precious blood cease your loss,

And He alone is the essence of Easter;

Our Lord and Saviour, a friend, our Master

And for this is celebration,

That God made Him our redemption;

In Him is indeed a friend

That cares even till the very end

And when life’s storms rages,

He remains the Rock of Ages,

His name is a strong tower you can hide,

Come to Him; His arms are open wide

He’s is the answer you’ve been looking for,

Come to Him just as you are;

Lord Jesus, the essence of Easter,

Who sacrificed all and all sins He gladly bore

There is none like Jesus Christ;

Righteousness for us all,

Who broke hostility’s wall,

And made obtainable life eternal; His name is Jesus Christ
