A Day Is Coming

A day is coming,

When sheep and goats shall be parted left and right,

Separating sinners from saints, darkness from light;

For the hour is near, only that you heed the warning

When all silver and gold shall be no more,

And while in the number will you be asked what you lived for?

There shall be gnashing of teeth in excruciating fire forever

For those forsaking the hard and narrow way;

Why throw salvation opportunity away

For fleeting moments of mirth that can wait for later?

A day is coming

When all tongues and skins shall face judgment;

Now is best for atonement

For sins and guilt; only that you need the warning

There’s a dark day coming

And if your soul shall be lost,

Have you counted the cost?

For the hour is near, only that you heed the warning
