Don’t be afraid of the vindictive people of this world
Even when spitted upon so you may seem odd
Live, live and feel alive
Live and be glad to stay alive
For all those who today despise you
Soon, will have no choice but to cheer for you
Stay focused and don’t be swayed
Times may be horrid, be not dismayed
So much cockiness really won’t take you far
Lower your head and be humble
So much you have to lose when you grumble
Keep your hopes high and you may shine like a star
When opportunities beckon at your door
Let go of the pains and fears you once saw
With body, mind and soul wide open
To embrace life rather than remain blue and heartbroken
Strive to do something positive no one has done before
It sure will give you an edge to be better than who you were before
Problems aren’t worth running from
It’s that you may discern where you are going from where you are coming from
Concentrate on your life’s purpose and target
Till all you ever need are what you stand to get
You may not always win all the battles
