Many are yet to know we are in a war
The sissy; the sleazy ask what are they in for?
Through the day and through the night
This war goes on for us to diligently fight
And the memorial park harbors those who tried
Those who thought the best way out was to hide
Little did they know what was coming
Death showed neither clemency nor a sign of warning
To some, it’s all but a fun
Proclaiming used tactics for every battle won
Knowing not that battles are won but wars never end
Without God, in the end you either break or bend
In times like this, you must secure your mind
Seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness
Casualties abound; care and show forth kindness
You may be thwarted but never will God leave your
side
Only the prudent will go so far
With insight and knowledge to avert being marred
Those yet to know where and who they are
Soon, will know how it feels to really be sad
Plethoras are the things people say life is
It’s indeed a journey through an endless war
Your body, mind and soul you must cement and fix
And a relationship with God is enough to know all
you’re in for
This you may not know,
Your life is worth fighting for!
And a relationship with God is the leverage you’ll
ever need.
