Long before I was born
Has the prophesy gone round
That a saviour will be born
To salvage the lost and misery bound.
It did come to pass
For all to know it’s true
Proving to every lad and lass
That in all adversity, someone will surely see them
through.
We are now to trail truth’s path plainly
Upholding love and righteousness
Abhorring iniquities to seek God solely
That our world may someday know peace and happiness.
Though, morality and faith are beginning to sink
It’s that we may know which road to take
Heaven or hell with the decisions we make
For the saviour is much closer than we think.
