The Future Is Up To You

Young adults and little children
The future is up to you
Increase your knowledge and wisdom
Of the things that you must do

Try to shelter the homeless
And supply the ones in need
Don’t become like the rich
Who can be selfish and full of greed

Help the hard working farmer
Who has trouble getting a loan
Help the old and the widowed
Whose childhood days are gone

Declare a war on crime and drugs
And rid our streets of the shame
Generations have been full of fear
The increase of crime is to blame

Every stone should be uncovered
To find the answers we pursue
Young adults and little children
The future is up to you.
