You Are Who You Think You Are

A life, a purpose
Are what you need
As what counts are your deeds
Meant to boost your creed
While forsaking the gaudy garb of greed.

Isn't it wrong to fear
When a prowess lies in you to dare?
Yet you await despair
Expecting the world to care
At the expense of living in pain
That one cannot really bear.

You mar your life by being hopeless
Thus chain your purpose regardless
Of the world's nosh of selfishness
As you bask in the baseless domicile of perpetual helplessness.

Why not see yourself
As you would want to be seen
Rather than diminishing your self worth
In  a world, we all live to be accepted and worthy?

You are an unwanted fetching fiddly fated failure
Only if you choose to be
And nothing is lacking or absent in your life
Unless you see through/with someone else's pulpils
That can't be as great as only yours.

Who you think you are matters
Regardless of who says otherwise
And what happens when you simply realise
You are as much better
Than who the world and you think you are?

Just like you
Others grapple to come to terms with who they are
And by comparing yourself
To a gold in a swine's snouts
Of what good is it to you
And those you eagerly seek to impress and surpass?

It all changes
When you start seeing peace in every war
Beauty in every hideous circumstance
Solace in every hullabaloo
And seeing yourself
Just as you ought to be beheld:

A perfectly imperfect genius
Indispensable for our world to form
Who falls to rise
Weeps to smile
And though we are born to live, to die
You can choose to live , to live
A life worth living without regrets.

You are who you think you are
And it truly matters
If you think you are the best
Besides, who really cares what you think
As long as you remain you?

You are who you think you are
And there is no doubt about that.
