The Silent Ridicule

With a silent ridicule
Hearts have been broken
Leaving the soul palpitating in solitude.
Like the corrosion of stars at sunrise,
We tremble at the onslaught of pain
As we sink in the deep waters of our tears.
Others are weary with crying
That their throat is cursed to parch;
Hapless one tends to be
In the blue ambiance of autism
Caused by the obstreperous obtrusion of rejection.
This is not bygone,
For our yesterday begot this day;
This day fraught with trepidation
In our veins nurtured for elation.
No one is meant to rot in despair
But the venom of this world is beyond repair,
Making us look like wimps
In the sight of those we seek to protect.
What must have brought us this far
When the world wish we had dwelled in paroxysm?
Just with a silent ridicule,
So many things have changed;
Homes breathe with greed,
As babies are left in need;
Even our terrier as pet
Barks lividly at the feet of malaise.
Why are people so malevolent,
Becoming inimical to one another?
It can't go on like this,
Can life go on like this?
To say we live for a better tomorrow
Emits a tune of malediction
When our today evinces an odyssey to perdition.
They say we need calisthenics to thrive
But as evolution's plane run amok;
And not for once
Has laughter ceased being a puzzle to the downtrodden
Who is ready enough to be a pilot for us all?
What lies ahead for the pariah of our society?
With just a silent ridicule,
Many have changed from good to bad, worse;
Leaving them as nightmare to themselves,
As some are basking in the euphoria of their asperity and callousness.
The silent ridicule,
Who can withstand?
