In The Eyes Of Expedition

Many grew up in the street
Without a penny to buy shoes on their feet;
To survive,they grapple like a wounded lion
And efface despair like a stout scorpion.
To them,life has never been rosy,
Neither will it be cosy;
In a non-cushy cottage they hail
But they aspire to never fail.
To the world,they are seen as a refuse
And receive daily a baggage of abuse;
Their wish was never to live like this
But how can bliss be procured in a world such as this,
Where animosity is eminent,
And the nosh of hypocrisy is prominent?
They never halt to wonder why life is a mystery,
For they know that an idle mind allures misery;
At the birth of every sunset,
Not even the tranquility of twilight could alter their mindset.
Is this how the future awaits evolution,
As conscience and hearts are broken in the dungeon of degeneration?
So many questions loiter to the fore
With little a answer to them all,
And here we are at every dawn,
Hoping for change to change,
As circumstance worsen day by day
To multiply the population of those in the morgue.
This day,a trail of topsy-turvey
Leads to the hearts of 'As'
'As'-Africa,Asia and around the world;
But do you ever ponder to wonder
Why we still encounter this alarming atrocities for yonks?
Your guess is as good as mine;
We fail to do something called nothing,
Not because we are powerless and helpless,
But because we don't love ourselves to an extent
Where we will want to die for what we live for.
Like i once said:
'Until the revolution in evolution is born,
Our dear lives will forever remain the same';
And someone said: God forbids!
Then another said:
Unless we wake up from slumber,
Stand for the things worth standing for,
And fight relentlessly for what we live for,
Indeed,God may not forbid.
In this journey of ours,
The decision to emancipation begins with you,
It begins with me,
And it is up to us all
To make the world a better place for us all.
...In the eyes of expedition,
All we will ever need is nothing but love.
