Here again,once in a season;
The perfect time to reason;
The moment of yuletide;
Needing from us all the attitude of gratitude;
Not to proclaim the yummy sound,
But to rekindle our gracious heart.
The flood came in gust;
Many were swept away;
Families left in despair and desolation;
Hearts were shattered;
June invented genres of hullabaloo,
Caused by the afflictions of hostility.
Sacrifices were made;
Privileges we got;
Now we can celebrate,
Because we are meant to live through it all.
The essence is not offense to one another;
The purpose is love;
Love is all we have and need.
Show love to someone today,
And make life truly worth living for tomorrow.
