If You Can........

If you can
see through the eyes of the hopeless,
wear their shoes of shame,
and walk in their paths of dismay,
YOU WILL KNOW WHY IT TRULY HURTS.

If you can
try your best to soar higher than disgust,
lay your bed for others to sleep,
and give cheerfully,even when you have little,
YOU WILL SEE THAT LOVE TRULY PAYS.

If you can
stand for the lame,
see for the blind,
and reach for the oppressed,
YOU WILL DESTROY THE SHADES OF SIN.

If you can
and if you truly can
see the goodness in others,
show a little kindness and care,
THEN YOU WILL EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF LOVE.

The choice is truly hard to make for some,
but i still would like to ask the question,
''CAN YOU, IF YOU CAN?''
