Humans Fail To Reason

Everyday we fight battles not ours;
We come face to face with death;
We escape the torture of pains,
And head back home to find solace in our lived ones.
At times, home is not always welcoming;
We hit the road and groove till dawn.
In the end, we face death;
Which gives the necessary rest that is needed,
And the people of the world will say:
REST IN PEACE.

Different backgrounds;
Different ideologies;
Different tribes,
But we all share one goal.
The goal to succeed and excel;
The goal to be a channel of change;
Yet, we fail to love ourselves.
How can a tree grow without loving the soil?
Can a bird fly without the support of the wind?
Humans fail to reason,
and until we buy our senses back, mankind will continue to suffer.
