Bedrock Or Bane Of Development?

Woe to you;
The citizens and inhabitants of this nation.
You want to walk as a baby,
But refuse to crawl first.
How could it be?
That you watch while your rooftop is on fire;
You rejoice over failure;
You sing without reason and meaning,
And you expect the wind of corruption to change directions,
What a shame!
We might have no past,
But a better future can still be born,
By preparing the room today,
And someday, today will be our past.
View not the beginning;
Nor the present situation,
Lest, you lose focus and determination.
The road to development is here and nigh,
Where you belong matters,
But as it is,
Are you a bedrock or bane of development?
