.....Yet, We Failed Again.

Don't worry, there is time;
We think we have eternity at our grasp;
We fail to do what we have to do;
Now we cry,for not doing what we want to do.
People are suffering,
Truly suffering to the brim,
That the heart begs to stop;
The soul pleads to rest,
And the body wishes to return.
The air of peace has been polluted;
It's now bad;
Too bad that it blinds the eyes,
And covers the mind.
What else do we live for?
If not for love and life?
Like animals, we also die.
The cradle provided blessing as our water;
Grace as our food;
Love was our weapon;
Hate for bitterness was the force.
In a minute, we had it all;
In another second, we lost it all;
We couldn't fulfill our side of the bargain with nature,
Yet, we failed again.
Opportunity is dead;
Chances are no more,
But for the sake of humanity,
May the creator grant the grace to fight again.
