We Lack Undrestanding

We are blinded by worldly philosophies;
We conceive wrong doctrines and make them our beliefs;
We know what is right, yet we fail to do it;
We lack understanding and give in to whatever comes our way;
We so much respect masters of this world,
Yet,we deny the only true master of all.
We watch things to wrong,
As our generation bear the brunt.
We come face to face with tyranny,
Instead of eliminating the source,
We cut the branches and protect our homes;
Neglecting friends, children, mothers who are our neighbors.
Woe to leaders who are not servants;
Woe to those that lack understanding and wisdom;
What is required of everyman is love.
Love beyond malice, hate and pride.
We depart from our sanctuary,
Yet, we fear the word called penury.
The world is in chaos,
But someday, we hope the new dawn pay us.
