The ultimate crime is not that a man kills another
And with eyes of indifference watches when others suffer;
The ultimate crime is that while his soul
Was innocent and naïve, longing to learn
Which path to choose and tread,
He was deprived of love and with pain and fear fed.
“All man for himself… take, grab, get…”
These were the legacies life could offer;
Hence, the ultimate crime.
