It’s not pride
When a man stands
For what he believes in.
It’s not folly
When he clings to his values
Even when the world speaks against.
A man may lose everything:
Status, wealth and friends
But to lose his morality,
To have not a mind of his own,
To stand for nothing and nothing at all,
Though he’s human, he is a shame.
